After searching the net for some really good examples of diamond charts, we decided to put together a very close to scale version, so it will give you a better idea of the final diamond size.
Note:
If you decide to use a ruler to measure the diamond images on your screen, please remember the screen resolution may vary. So if your screen resolution is 800×600 pixels the diamond images will be slightly bigger. We created the chart images on a screen resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. So when using a ruler the chart images below should match up to the correct measurement.
Important: The weight of the diamond can still vary depending on the size and final cut of the finished stone. We have measured the diamond size in (mm) as this is mainly used on certificates by professional diamond graders.

The carat is a unit of mass equal to 200 mg (0.2 g; 0.007055 oz) and is used for measuring gemstones and pearls. The current definition, sometimes known as the metric carat, was adopted in 1907 at the Fourth General Conference on Weights and Measures, and soon afterward in many countries around the world.
