16th May 2016 – TARTESIA, an exclusive jewellery brand from Spain, announces its launch into the UK market. TARTESIA offers beautiful contemporary jewellery with unique stories crafted by Spanish artisans.

After a successful debut of its website – www.tartesia.com – TARTESIA has already secured a number of premium stockists in Madrid, Spain and has partnered with ThreadNotBare, a London-based luxury fashion sales and marketing agency. Having received interest from retailers, TARTESIA intends to launch into a few select UK shops over the next few months.

Selina Ashdown, TARTESIA’s co-founder and CEO, says: “We are passionate about our jewellery being designed and made in Spain, and we wanted to share this beautiful craftsmanship with the rest of the world. It has been great to receive such a positive response from the UK retail market and we are excited to work with ThreadNotBare to grow our retail business in the UK.”

TARTESIA is a fine fashion jewellery brand that appeals to the international market. Blending Spanish heritage with modern designs, the jewellery is created for those who seek a simple and sophisticated style and appreciate long-lasting craftsmanship. All TARTESIA jewellery is made of 925 Sterling Silver or 18ct Gold Vermeil and produced by top quality artisan jewellers.

The new affordable luxury jewellery brand has unveiled three collections, inspired by vibrant and enchanting tales from Spain’s heritage to create an authentic story around each collection. The inaugural TARTESIA collections include earrings, necklaces, rings and bracelets, and combine elegant shapes and distinctive precious metal textures to create simple and refined jewellery.

The name TARTESIA is derived from the Bronze Age kingdom of Tartessos, an ancient culture from southern Spain, admired for early advancements in metallurgy to craft exquisite jewellery and treasures.

Marking the UK launch in April 2016 with an event at Electric House Member’s Club in London, TARTESIA is now set to build on its successful start to secure more exclusive retailers in London and Madrid. Future plans include expansion across Europe and the Middle East.

Selina added: “TARTESIA’s mission is to make people feel special every day by bringing alive unique stories into every piece and making them available to the international women of today.”

TARTESIA jewellery has an RRP of £80 – £300 and its inaugural three collections are available to purchase now at www.tartesia.com and in select UK retailers soon.
