In 1989 I was five and I used to ask my mother when Dad would be coming home. She reassured me very soon, Daddy is working on a new career. A year later my father finally returned home from The States where he was doing his jewellery apprenticeship.
I remember staying up past my bedtime watching my dad practice melting moulds and casting wax. He would do this all the way to the early hours of the morning. Upon seeing him work and rework the same mould five times in a row I used to ask him why? From the concentration on his face I realised he wasn’t going be happy with it until it was perfect. I discovered from a very young age that my father paid a lot of attention to the finest detail and he would not let anyone see his work until it was a masterpiece.
A few years later after endless hours of hard work and dedication to fulfil his dream Dad finally was recognised in Hatton Garden as one of the First Eastern Asia Jewellery manufacturers and not long after that Diamond Palace was established.
Diamond Palace was established in the early 90s, and has been going from strength to strength ever since. We are a well-known family-run business that prides itself on providing a warm, friendly down-to-earth environment for our customers.
