Whitstable’s favourite jewellery designer, Esa Evans, is launching her fundraising campaign on Kickstarter on Thursday 12 March 2015.
Esa Evans’ jewellery business, Lady Muck, is well known in Whitstable for its quirky, fun contemporary style.
“I have a number of new laser cut jewellery designs ready to go and need to raise funds to pay for materials, production and promotion. Creating a number of new collections will make all the difference to my business and will take Lady Muck to the next level.”
Kickstarter is a US-based website that supports artists with the promotion and tools they need to ‘kickstart’ creative projects.
Esa says, “It takes a lot of people to achieve a Kickstarter target – so I’m doing all I can to spread the word through friends, family, business and social media.
“I’m asking people to pledge their support for my business by choosing rewards of Lady Muck jewellery for men and women. Payments are only taken when I achieve the fundraising target so I’m putting really great rewards in to the campaign to make sure as many people as possible find something they want to buy.”
There’s no doubt people love buying Lady Muck designs. Working initially from her kitchen table, Esa initially sold her designs at school craft fairs.
Following a superb response from jewellery lovers, she was soon stocked by local retailers, Taking the Plunge and Florry & Black.
Lady Muck has been sold at the Turner Contemporary Margate ever since the gallery Bronwyn Lowenthal, Design Director for the Turner Contemporary Margate, says “We like Lady Muck because it is quirky, well priced and they make great gift items.”
