Don Biu
In November 2012, a husband and wife, Alit & Katrina Beck created their first sterling silver rings on bricks placed on their kitchen counter using simple tools of foot pump and fire and traditional methods of hand carving and engraving. Although the first Don Biu jewellery was rough people loved their bohemian designs and enabling Don Biu grow both a grander collection and studio.
Four years later Don Biu is a full time job for Alit and Katrina to run and they now have twelve in house silversmiths. Every art piece Don Biu produces is lovingly handmade in solid 925 Sterling Silver, stamped with 925 and the Don Biu logo. Every silversmith working for Don Biu is specialized, collectively having over a century of experience working with sterling silver.
Each member also has a specific area of expertise such as silver carving or delicate designs, together creating what you see in the Don Biu more skillful collection you see today. Their free spirited jewelry currently supplies ten brick and mortor independent shops in three countries and two online boutiques. Don Biu also offers direct online retail with worldwide shipping.
Connecting and exceeding with customers has been important on a personal level since day one and in order to be a part of people’s story Don Biu continues to offer customizations such as stone changes and free engraving and on every item available.
