On Tuesday 4th of November, JCM London celebrated the opening of their new home in Knightsbridge. Now situated at 45 Beauchamp Place, friends and jewellery lovers alike braved the rain to turn out for this glittering opening and it didn’t disappoint.
Stocked with a vast array of sparkling jewels that would send any human magpie’s head into a complete spin, the store was a treasure trove of pieces incorporating a myriad of gems to suit all tastes and budgets.
The store stocks pieces from all of JCM’s collections, from diamonds to crystal and everything in between. As guests, JCM stunned us all with big statement semi precious pieces, delicate sculpted crystal designs and diamond rings that would make any girl swoon. There were so many beautiful items to choose from it was almost impossible to select favourites, with each display sharing something even more enchanting than the last.
We were, however, delighted to discover some absolutely gorgeous silver and crystal pieces in the Scheherazade collection. The collection is named after the Persian Queen who saved her own life by holding the attention of her future King by telling a story for 1001 nights. The delicate and intricate designs exude femininity, romance and yet also strength. Completely gorgeous in every way these pieces were absolutely guaranteed to be a show stopper when worn.
JCM London, Managing Director Mehmet Topbas commented, “We were delighted to host an intimate evening with guests to mark the official launch of our flagship store in London’s premium jewellery street at 45 Beauchamp Place. This marks the end to an exciting year for JCM London, which has seen an expansion both in the UK and abroad. We are now stocked in 14 countries as well as key department stores in the UK.
The first store is always the sweetest and we were delighted to share it with so many loyal clients and press. We are greatly looking forward to the year ahead.”
With experienced artisans in both London’s Hatton Garden and Istanbul, JCM London collections evoke the timeless aesthetic and the rich cultural heritage of the Byzantine and Ottoman empires.
Inspired by treasures and architecture, each piece in the collection is a miniature work of art, using precious gemstones in bronze with gold plating. The jewellery encapsulate the beautiful, deep colours and motifs of the era, making the jewellery stand out for any fashionable woman.
