It’s just been announced that a new jewellery blog, The Diamond Store Magazine, is up for a UK Blog Award in 2016. The online publication is by the luxury London online jeweller, TheDiamondStore.co.uk.

The UK Blog Awards are Britain’s biggest yearly tribute to the nation’s best blogging talent. The Diamond Store Magazine made the second stage of the competition in the Company category for Beauty & Fashion. The finalists will be announced by the judges after 29th January when the public voting period ends, and the winners will be chosen in April.

Only a year old, The Diamond Store Magazine was designed as a go-to source for people seeking expert advice on diamond and gemstone jewellery. It’s quickly become popular, visited by tens of thousands of readers every week.

Some of the top reads on the site are articles like Engagement and Wedding Rings on Which Finger? and The Meaning of Eternity Rings. The blog also offers insider tips on how to buy the best diamonds for your money, identifying vintage jewellery styles, the meaning of gemstones and bridal jewellery trends.

“We’re delighted our blog has been recognised as a UK Blog Award contender. Buying fine jewellery for someone you love deeply, especially if it’s an important occasion, can be really daunting, not least because of the expense. It can be hard to know what style she’d like, or whether a diamond you’re considering buying is of a good quality. We wanted to give our customers trustworthy information without all the jargon. To see new pieces from our collections, get advice, tips, ideas. And make informed purchases. ” – Gary Ingram – CEO

The Diamond Store Magazine’s fun, easy to understand articles are in line with the online jeweller’s ethos: to offer luxury with confidence. “We believe that everyone should be able to buy the best possible jewellery for their money, whatever their budget,” says Ingram. “Our blog is all about that. It adds value to who we are. It shows we don’t just make it about selling our jewellery, but consider it a part of what we do to offer our customers free information that’s useful and exciting.”
